Our board of directors recently awarded $10,500 to the recipients of Coleman County Electric Cooperative’s annual scholarship program. Seven local high school seniors, residing within CCEC’s eight-county service area, will each receive a $1,500 scholarship towards their tuition at a college, technical school, or university. The program is funded entirely by unclaimed capital credit payments returned to CCEC by the state and does not come from CCEC’s operating budget.
The seven 2022 CCEC scholarship recipients are; Kregg Bilbrey - Winters High School, Christopher Bobo - Santa Anna High School, Briley Clinton - Ballinger High School, Tyler Hale - Coleman High School, Patience Price - Panther Creek High School, Trystan Rice - Santa Anna High School and Caylee Vogel - Panther Creek High School.
Congratulations to each of these students on their achievements. We can’t wait to see each of you excel as you begin this next chapter of your lives.
