District 2

Roger Kruse – Roger Kruse has been on the Coleman County Electric Cooperative Board since 2008 and currently serves as the Vice President.  Roger has farmed and ranched all his life in the Winters area.  He served 10 years on the North Runnels Hospital District Board, and currently serves on the Elm Creek Water Control District Board.  He has completed the required courses and training through NRECA to receive his Credentialed and Board Leadership Certificates.  His wife of 32 years, Rhonda Kruse, is a teacher at Winters Elementary. They have one married son with two precious grandchildren, one married daughter and one daughter attending Texas Tech University.  Roger and Rhonda are members of the North Main Church of Christ in Winters.

Brent Jacob – was raised in Runnels County.  He attended Texas Tech University, completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy.  He farms cotton, wheat and sunflowers, as well as, raises goats and cattle.  He resides near Winters with his wife Brandi and their two children.  They are members of the Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Winters. In recent years, Brent has served on the Winters Area Business and Industrial Committee and the Winters Dovefest Committee. 

 

District 6

Darla Wise – Darla Wise has served on the Coleman County Electric Cooperative Board since 2016. Darla was born and raised in Coleman County. She married Hank Wise, of Rockwood, in 1986 and together they have two sons and three grandchildren. Darla graduated from Howard Payne University in 1993 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Darla is a 4th generation Coleman County resident and has been farming, ranching, and in the hunting business for over 30 years. Darla has also served on the Coleman County Chamber of Commerce, Coleman County Youth Activity Center, and 4B Economic Development Boards. She received Coleman County's New Horizon Award in 2009. Darla has completed the required courses and training through NRECA to receive her Credentialed and Board Leadership Certificates and is only one course away from receiving her Director Gold Certificate. Darla is a member of Gouldbusk Methodist Church. 

Kristi Herrod – Kristi Herrod moved to Whon, Texas in 1995 and has lived in Coleman County since then along with the majority of her family. She graduated from Santa Anna High School in May of 2000. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Howard Payne University and her Master of Education, Guidance and Counseling Degree in 2009 from Angelo State University. She has worked in public education since 2004, teaching grades Pre-K – 8th grade.  In 2013, she became the Santa Anna I.S.D. School Counselor. She has been married to husband, David Herrod, since August of 2000 and together they have two sons ages nine and four. While she has enjoyed being in public education, she’s decided to join her husband and family at their family business.  She will begin her new journey at Herrod’s Auto Sales this July.
